Installing Sidereal EDIPROCW Software -- EDIPROCW

Follow these steps to download and Install Sidereal's EDI software:

1. First print these instructions for your easy reference.

2. Click here to Download Setupex.exe . This is Sidereal's EDI software; EDIPROCW. This file is 3.9MB (3,900,765 bytes) long and is self extracting.

Note: Windows 3.1 Users - This software only runs under Win95/98/NT/2000/XP. It does not run under Windows 3.1

Note: All Users - For proper installation, all active tasks, especially MICROSOFT OFFICE, should be terminated except for Windows Explorer. To view and terminate active tasks, perform the following steps:

a) Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to view active tasks.

b) Highlight a task to be terminated, then Click the End Task button to terminate. Repeat steps a and b until only Windows Explorer is active .

3. Double click on setupex.exe. Note: This file has a computer icon to the left of its name. The will begin the extraction and installation process.

4. Follow the instructions. Note the default installation options should work in most cases.

5. EDIPROCW has context sensitive help. This means that if you press F1 at any point you will get a help screen that is applicable to where you are. An overview is available by clicking on Help and then Contents and then Overview after you have started EDIPROCW.

6. If you are upgrading from a previous version for EDIPROCW, then you must fill out the update user information screen under OPTIONS and if you are accessing the service via the Internet then you must configure the communications setup under OPTIONS.

7. If you have signed up with Sidereal, start the program by double clicking the EDIPROCW icon, click on Options and then click on Update User Information. If you do not have a CAGE code enter 00000. Enter all requested information as it applies to your organization. If you do not have, or do not know if you have, a DUNS Extension, GSA Schedule Number, Trading Partner Id Number or User number, then leave them blank. Both password fields must remain blank unless you have pre-arranged with Sidereal to use this feature. Click the Save and Use button.
