Instructions to access EDI via the Internet using
EDIPROCW
- Start the program by double clicking the EDIPROCW icon.
- Click Options
- Click Communications Setup
- Click OK when the warning box appears
- Change the Receive number to: recv.sidnet.com 2002 (NOTE: there is a space between sidnet.com and 2002)
- Change the Send Number to: send.sidnet.com 2004 (NOTE: there is a space between sidnet.com and 2004)
- Click Save These Communication Settings
Your Internet connection must be up and
operational. (if not, you will get an error message).
NOTE – If you have any firewall software installed you must configure the
firewall to allow telnet connections using ports 2001, 2002, 2003 or 2004.
(These are not the standard telnet ports).
Click Get EDI to retrieve your messages
Click Send EDI to send your bids, etc.
